Believers have died to sin. That means that after salvation, the relationship of every believer to sin has changed. The Scriptures don’t say that sin has died to us; it will still exert influence and temptation on us. What we are promised is that we have died to sin – our bondage to it has been broken and we have been given new power to walk in righteousness.
