Scripture: 2 Thessalonians 2:1-17

As Paul continues to describe the signs of Christ’s 2nd coming, he identifies the deceptive, fraudulent character of the Antichrist. He will appeal to those who do not love the truth of God, and will quickly take control of the world, but will immediately be destroyed by Christ when He returns. The judgment of God on those who follow the Antichrist is that he gives them over to believing the lies they hear. This same judgment is a danger even now for those who hear God’s truth and reject it.
