A Biblical Understanding of Israel (Sojourners Bible Study)

August 24, 2025 - October 12, 2025

In this study we consider what the Scriptures teach about Israel, beginning with sound principles of biblical interpretation. We trace Israel’s election, formation, and calling through the Old Testament and examine Paul’s teaching on Israel in the present church age in Romans 9–11. Across the series we see God’s unfailing faithfulness to His covenant promises, culminating in the future of Israel and the fulfillment of the covenants in Christ.
