With self-deception, a person feeds themself a false belief even though they’ve been exposed to what is real, right, or true. That is a dangerous place to be as sin affects their understanding and faith. The Scriptures have much to say about this tragic dynamic in people’s lives and how to help them fight against the problem of self-deception.
