In this study we work verse by verse through Ecclesiastes, the Preacher’s searching examination of life under the sun. Solomon exposes the vanity of pursuing meaning in wisdom, pleasure, labor, and wealth apart from God, confronting the reader with the brevity of life and the certainty of death. Across the book he leads us to the conclusion of the whole matter: to fear God and keep His commandments, enjoying His gifts with gratitude as those who will face His judgment.
