Mortification of Sin (Bible Study)

In this study we consider the biblical call to put sin to death, a duty the Puritans called the mortification of sin. We examine how remaining sin works in the believer’s heart and how, by the Spirit, Christians are to wage war against it rather than make peace with it. Across the series we see that mortification is the fruit of union with Christ, as believers put off the old self and put on the virtues of the new.
