12/10/2023 – Galatians Bible Study – Kris Brackett – “After and interval of fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem…” As we continue to study the biographical section of Galatians we investigate what was going on in the silent years of Paul’s early Christian life as well as what was going on in the early church during those days. The gospel was spreading from Jerusalem, to Judea, to Samaria, and beyond reaching Jews, proselytes, and Gentiles. God was moving key men around during this time as new frontiers for the gospel were opening in preparation for greater undertakings and travels. At the same time controversy was raging in the church over the question, what must you believe to be saved and what must you do to be saved. Paul wrote Galatians to clarify and defend the gospel in these critical days.
